Every year, University of Winnipeg scholarships are given to international students entering any of the University’s divisions for the first time from Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) to the English Language Program (ELP). The Award is a partial tuition waiver of CAD$3500 and is at the number 10 position.
This scholarship of CAD$5000 is given specially to an outstanding international student from an African country every year. Makes the list because the scholarship is open to either undergraduate or graduate students.
8. MasterCard Foundation Scholarships
MasterCard Foundation and Canadian universities through an agreement admitted African Students on Scholarships for 8 years, beginning in 2012. In the 2019/2020 academic session, the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships was awarded to up to 37 secondary school students. The scholarship is offered in the University of Toronto and covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support.
The York University scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship to outstanding international students going in for undergraduate studies. The scholarship is worth CAD$20,000 for 4 years.
