The University of Messina offers grants to support incoming mobility of Visiting scholars to carry out teaching and/or reserch activities within the framework of the UniME academic offer.

About the Award: Visiting professors/researchers shall be allowed all rights and responsibilities in accordance with the relevant UniMe regulations.

The University of Messina offers grants to support incoming mobility of Visiting Professors and Researchers to carry out teaching activities within the framework of the UniME academic offer.

Eligibility: Pre-evaluation will take into account graduate/undergraduate students’ education.

Value of Award:

  • The total budget available is € 75.000 and grants shall be assigned by taking into account the number of applications submitted for each scientific Macro-area.
  • Except for duly justified cases, maximum compensation is €3,000 per month (gross) for scholars employed in European Higher Education Institutions, or € 5,000 per month (gross) for scholars employed in non-European Higher Education Institutions.

Duration of Award: The duration of the visit shall range from 1 to 3 months. The first month of stay must be continuous. Visiting professors and researchers carrying out their activity in the area of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine may stay for a minimum period of 10 days (continuously).
