GREAT Scholarships 2023, launched by the British Council’s Study UK campaign together with a number of other UK universities, supports students from 18 countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities. The Study UK campaign is offering 150 scholarships from UK universities to students across 18 countries around the world.

Who can apply for GREAT Scholarships AT EDINBURGH?
At the University of Edinburgh, the Scholarships will be awarded to nationals and residents of China, India, Nigeria, Turkey and Vietnam who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible one-year on campus postgraduate Masters programme of study. The tables below set out the eligibility criteria per programme and the applicable scholarship application which can be located within MyEd (further information can be found under Applying).Â
How are Applicants Selected?
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree.

What is the Benefit of GREAT Scholarships AT EDINBURGH?
Each scholarship will award an amount of £10,000 which will be deducted from your tuition fees and will be tenable for one academic year.

The scholarship deadline is 23:59 GMT 21st April 2022.
In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to ten working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
