The III Generation of the Fellowship: Path Toward the Democratization of the Future is now open for applications. The deadline is April 30, 2026. This fellowship supports young climate leaders through virtual training, international advocacy, and local action.
Selected fellows will join a training process in May and June 2026. Then, they will participate in COP31 in Antalya, Turkey, from November 9–20, 2026. After COP31, fellows will lead local knowledge-sharing and community action in their home territories.

About this Program
This fellowship focuses on climate justice, policy analysis, strategic communication, and youth advocacy. First, participants complete virtual training. Next, selected fellows engage in COP31 in person. Finally, they carry out post-COP actions that democratize climate knowledge and support community-based processes.
The program aims to strengthen youth participation in international climate spaces. It also connects global advocacy with local impact. As a result, fellows gain both policy exposure and practical community experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be aged 15–30.
- Applicants must be nationals of Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Indonesia, Ghana, Gabon, Uganda, or Tanzania.
- Applicants must reside in these countries or be migrants or refugees from them.
- Applicants must belong to Indigenous, peasant, Afro-descendant, or rural communities, and/or be victims of armed conflict.
- Applicants must speak Spanish or English.
- Applicants must have experience or involvement in climate or socio-environmental action processes.
- Applicants must be available to complete all phases of the program, including training and mobilization to COP31.
- If selected and a minor, applicants must provide formal authorization from parents or legal guardians and any additional required documentation.
What Fellows Receive: Full financing plus round-trip airfare from the city of residence to Antalya, shared accommodation, a stipend for meals and local transportation, international health insurance, expert advice on international climate policy, and global networking opportunities.
Program Components
– Virtual training focused on climate justice, policy analysis, and strategic communication.

– A requirement to complete at least 70% of the training process to proceed to the final phase.
