The Roche Scholarship 2026, in partnership with One Young World, is designed for young NHS professionals in the UK who are leading sustainable innovation and advancing health equity. Three scholars will be selected to attend the One Young World Summit in Cape Town, South Africa (3–6 November 2026), with all costs covered.
This scholarship reflects Roche’s mission to achieve net zero emissions by 2045 and reduce the environmental footprint of healthcare operations.

Which Fields are Eligible?
Applicants must be working in the NHS and demonstrate impact in at least one of the following areas:
- Tackling health inequalities across communities.
- Developing or implementing innovative methods of treatment or diagnosis to improve patient care pathways.
- Reducing the environmental impact of healthcare operations (e.g., decarbonising supply chains).

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be young professionals currently working within the NHS.
- Demonstrate a track record of sustainable innovation or health equity work.
- Provide evidence of impact (not just ideas).
