This fully funded two-year programme, in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, addresses the growing need for skilled medical statisticians in response to the increase in health data. Sponsored by the UK Medical Research Council, it targets early and mid-career professionals, offering training, leadership development, and research opportunities.

The ISEP Postgraduate Training Fellowship in Medical Statistics is funded by the UK Medical Research Council and delivered in partnership with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and leading African research institutions. It is designed to build capacity in medical statistics across Sub-Saharan Africa by combining advanced academic training with practical research placements.

- Hold at least a 2:1 equivalent degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related subject.
- Have at least one year of work experience in medical statistics or epidemiology.
