Tuition Cost

The University of Geneva is a public institution and the fees for one semester is about 500 CHF. Students registering through an exchange programme do not pay any tuition fees but they are asked to pay administrative fees of about 65 CHF.   • University of Geneva Excellence Masters Fellowships

The University of Geneva of the faculty of science offers Scholarships for a wide range of science degrees such as astronomy, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, pharmaceutical sciences, earth sciences, and the environment. The university offers programmes for Masters’s degrees and they are taught in English and French. The scholarship is also open to international students all over the world. The Faculty of Science, with the support of other partners, offers an Excellence Fellowship program which is open to outstanding and highly motivated students who wish to pursue a Master of Science degree in one of the disciplines covered by the Faculty of Science in the University of Geneva. The candidate selection is based solely on excellence. The scholarship value is about 10,000 to 15,000 CHF per year.  The scholarship is awarded for one year and may be extended depending on the degree duration.

  • Mobility Tech Scholarship

The Mobility Tech Scholarship is funded partially by the Rolstoel for international students. This scholarship is available for bachelor’s and Masters’s degrees. The value of the scholarship is 500 USD.

  • MEIG Master Awards at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.

The University of Geneva offers a scholarship in Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (MEIG). MEIG offers up to 5 awards for intended applicants and it is designed for students and professionals who have obtained at least a Bachelor’s diploma. The scholarship is available for students from all around the world.
