The University of Adelaide is a Public University founded in 1874 in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. However, the university which is known for its high impact research is the 3rd oldest University in Australia. Also, it does consist of 5 campuses, having North Terrace as the leading campus.

There are 5 faculties that made up the institution. They are the Faculty of Engineering, Computer, and Mathematical Sciences, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of the Professions, and the Faculty of Sciences.

Scholarships

  1. Adelaide Scholarships International: The University provides Scholarship opportunities to high-performance international students. Hence, to further their study in a Master’s or Doctorate degree programme by research each year.

The scholarship fund covers course tuition fees, annual living allowance, health allowance, travel expenses and many more. It lasts for a duration of 2 years for a Master’s degree program and 3 years for a Doctoral research degree.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only applicants from other countries, not New Zealand can apply for the scholarship.
  • Applicants must have a good command of English and be able to meet the minimum requirements for English Language skills.
  • Applicants must have completed a minimum of first class Australia Honours degree.

  1. Adelaide Graduate Research Scholarships: The institution awards scholarships to outstanding domestic undergraduate students ready to pursue a degree programme at the University. The scholarship fund covers the student’s living cost and educational fee for the first year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be a citizen of Australia, New Zealand or permanent resident of Australia.
  1. Adelaide Undergraduate Scholarship: This is scholarship awards to domestic students, who are ready to pursue an undergraduate degree program at the University. Successful candidates receive a scholarship worth of $12,000 each year. Also, it’s open to all faculties in the institution and no application needed.

Eligibility Criteria

Only citizens of Australian and New Zealand or Australian permanent residents are eligible for the scholarship.

  1. Global Citizens Scholarship: This scholarship is for academic merit international students in pursuit of an undergraduate or postgraduate study. It aims in supporting the student’s academic finance, thereby lowering the student’s tuition fee between 15% and 30%. However, the scholarship award is automatic.
  2. Partner Scholarship: This is available to students transferring from any of their partner Universities who have undergone agreements with the institution. Qualified students can get up to 25% of the annual tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Transferring students must be from the partner University to the institution.
  • The scholarship award is automatic and on the basis of academic merit.
