I've heard from a number of Shell University Scholarship applicants, asking for a way to 'runs' their way into the undergraduate scholarship program. A few people have even asked if I could help them manoeuvre through the scholarship program. To answer their question, I can't help you. It's a common thing in Nigeria for people to want to cease opportunities like this to make money off the hands of desperate Nigerians. But you have to be smarter than that, folks! Shell can do better than let a program designed for undergraduates be influenced by some, fast-trackers. Here is what Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited have to say on their Scholarship disclaimers webpage about this. The attention of The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) has been drawn to the activities of some individuals parading themselves to unsuspecting members of the public as SPDC's University Scholarship Programme representatives. These individuals, who pose as middlemen, claim to have access to SPDC's University scholarship process with powers to influence or secure scholarships for prospective candidates. For the avoidance of doubt, SPDC has not authorised or appointed any person or organisation to act as middlemen or agents with regards to its University Scholarship Programme and does not collect any fee from candidates. SPDC's University Scholarship Programme is advertised in national newspapers, wherein prospective candidates are advised on the medium for submission of applications. These applications are then processed by SPDC and the outcome communicated directly to the candidates. Please be guided accordingly. All you have to do is follow the right procedures and guidelines, give your application a good shot and pray for the better. The scholarship application for 2021/2022 session is closed and exam taken in February. If you missed out, you can wait for the next round.
