Who can Apply For The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program?
The scholarship is open to applicants who:
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Demonstrate leadership potential
- Demonstrate financial need
- Are young women interested in STEM programmes
- Are internally displaced young people
- Are young people with disabilities
- Demonstrate commitment to giving back to their community.
- Must have passed WAEC/ NECO/ GCE/ NABTEB with 5 credits including English and Mathematics and three other subjects in Arts, Sciences and Social Science in not more than two sittings.
- UTME Minimum Score of 220 (The required UTME subjects are English Language and any three of Social Science, Arts or Science subjects)

How to Apply:
- Step 1: Ensure you meet the academic requirements (five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings).
- Step 2: If you do not yet have UTME results, complete the Interest Form to begin the screening process.
- Step 3: Write the JAMB UTME and attain a minimum score of 220.
- Step 4: Candidates with UTME results should fill out the Online Application Form.
- Step 5: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews.
- Step 6: Successful candidates will be granted admission and awarded the scholarship.
