Tell Me About the Fellowship:
The Harvard Radcliffe Institute Fellowship is a fully funded, one-year program at Harvard University, USA. It supports 50 scholars, scientists, artists, journalists, and public intellectuals whose work demonstrates achievement and promise for future contributions.
Fellows pursue ambitious projects in a vibrant interdisciplinary setting, with access to Harvard’s resources and the Radcliffe community.

- Creative Arts (film, visual arts, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, journalism, playwriting, music composition)

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Hold a terminal degree (PhD, MD, JD, etc.) at least two years before appointment.
- Meet discipline-specific requirements:
- Humanities/Social Sciences: published monograph or two refereed articles.
- Science/Engineering/Math: at least five refereed journal articles.
- Creative Arts: significant professional achievements (e.g., exhibitions, published books, produced plays, performances).
- Not be currently enrolled in a degree program.
- Not be former Radcliffe fellows (1999–present).
How are Candidates Selected?
- Based on academic achievement, professional contributions, and project proposal quality.
- Proposals should address pressing social, scientific, or policy issues, and may align with Radcliffe’s multiyear focus (2024–2029): academic freedom and connecting across difference.
