The Citizens of the World Excellence scholarship is intended for international students in Canada who have submitted a new application for admission for the summer 2023, fall 2023, or winter 2023 semester. The objective of this scholarship is to promote academic excellence.

About the Award: This new program aims to attract the world’s top talent with scholarships for international students in Canada, and to support Université Laval students with mobility scholarships to help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

The Citizens of the World Commitment scholarship is intended for international students who have submitted a new application for admission for the Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 semester in the regular masters or Ph.D. program at Université Laval.

Excellence scholarship

Bachelor’s degree and professional master’s programs – New

• Scholarships vary between $10,000 and $15,000 (two payments)

Research master’s with thesis and Ph.D. programs

• Research master’s programs with thesis: Total value of $20,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to four semesters)
• PhD: Total value of $30,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to six semesters)

Commitment scholarship

• Master’s: Total value up to $20,000 ($5,000 per semester)
• PhD: Total value up to $30,000 ($5,000 per semester)
