About this Program

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be mid-career African women agricultural scientists.
- They must be working in national agricultural research institutions, government ministries, universities, or international research organisations.
- Applicants must be based in one of these countries: Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, or Senegal.
- They must hold at least a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- They must have a minimum of seven years of work experience in agriculture and agrifood systems, including gender in agriculture research and programming.

What Fellows Receive: Mentoring (matched mentor and mentee), leadership and negotiation skills courses, training on gender integration in climate adaptation, science communication training, research proposal writing training, and access to a network/community of experienced African women scientists.
