The DAAD Study Scholarships support highly qualified graduates of all disciplines to pursue postgraduate study in Germany. The programme is designed for students whose academic projects make a stay in Germany essential, and preference is given to those with admission or established contact with a German host institution.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Be graduating seniors or alumni enrolled full‑time at an accredited university when applying.

- Have good command of German if applying to a German‑taught programme (not required for English‑taught programmes).
- Be citizens of any country, provided foreign nationals have studied at a US or Canadian university for at least two years.

- 10 months (one academic year), renewable for a second year for Master’s students.
