When is the Application Deadline: For September 2025 starters: April 25, 2025 For January 2026 starters: September 12, 2025 Tell Me About The Award: The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship at the University of Suffolk recognizes and rewards outstanding international students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to a career in health professions. Which Fields are Eligible? Eligible courses include: BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing MSc Adult Nursing (Pre-registration) BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy and Oncology MSc Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-registration) Type: Undergraduate and Postgraduate-Taught Scholarship (360-credit for undergraduate, 180-credit for postgraduate programs) Who can Apply for the Health Scholarship? Applicants must: Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the eligible health programs at the University of Suffolk, Ipswich campus. Be classified as international students (Overseas for fee purposes) and self-funding. Be commencing their studies in the 2025/6 academic year. Be studying full-time. For undergraduate programs, applicants must be starting in Year 1 (Level 4). Submit their scholarship application before the specified deadlines. How are Applicants Selected? Selection is based on scores obtained during the academic interview for the applicant's chosen program. In case of a tie, the scholarship will be awarded based on interview scores and prior academic achievements. Which Countries Are Eligible? The scholarship is open to international students classified as Overseas for fee purposes. Where will the Award be Taken? University of Suffolk, Ipswich campus, United Kingdom. How Many Awards? 50 scholarships will be awarded for the 2025 academic year, divided between the September 2025 and January 2026 intakes. What is the Benefit of the Award? Each scholarship is valued at £4,000 per year of study and provided as a tuition fee reduction upon enrollment. This scholarship is renewable each year for the duration of full-time study, provided the recipient remains on their original program of study. How Long Will the Award Last? The award is valid for each year of full-time study. How to Apply for the Health Scholarship: Receive an Offer of Admission: Applicants must first receive a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible health program. Submit Scholarship Application: Eligible applicants will be invited to apply for the scholarship. The application will be evaluated based on the academic interview and prior academic achievements.
