It is open to those from refugee backgrounds or who are forcibly displaced, including internally displaced people. The scholarship is a partnership between the University of Edinburgh and the Amjad & Suha Bseisu Foundation. Eligibility Must be a national of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine. Must have refugee or displaced status, including internal displacement. May be domiciled in any country outside the UK. Must apply for a full-time, on-campus STEM Master’s programme at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Science and Engineering. Must meet academic entry requirements for the chosen programme. Must apply for the degree programme before applying for the scholarship. Priority given to those without a UK undergraduate degree. If you have one, you must explain your need for support. Priority given to those without a postgraduate Master’s from another country. If you have one, explain why you need this additional qualification. Not eligible if you already hold a UK postgraduate Master’s degree or a PhD. Must meet English language requirements for the chosen programme. Free Oxford ELLT test available for successful candidates. Obtain your University User Number (UUN). Once you have your UUN, complete the scholarship application form. You will answer short essay questions about your academic merit, interest in your field, and commitment to community impact.
