Tell Me About The Programme:
The Young Talents Programme (YTP) is a highly selective talent development initiative in Nigeria designed to identify, nurture, and connect outstanding young graduates. It combines academic excellence, leadership development, and career positioning to prepare participants for opportunities beyond academia.
At its core, YTP is built on three pillars:
- Mentorship: Faculty-led and professional mentoring continues for six months after the programme.
- Talent Development: Builds leadership capacity, problem-solving skills, and future-ready competencies.
- Talent Sourcing: Serves as a pipeline for advanced academic opportunities, research pathways, and recruitment by partner organisations.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Hold a First Class or Second Class Upper degree.
- Be under 30 years old at the time of application.
- Be currently undergoing or have completed NYSC.
- Master’s degree holders or candidates are welcome (optional).
- Not have participated in YTP previously.
How are Candidates Selected?
- Based on academic performance, leadership potential, and readiness for accelerated growth.
- About 50 participants are selected annually from a large national applicant pool.

Where will the Programme be Taken?
- In-person, Nigeria (venue announced to selected participants).
How Many Awards/Seats?
- 50 participants annually.
What is the Benefit of the Programme?
- Two-day intensive learning and leadership experience.

How Long Will the Programme Last?
- Two days in-person (July 23–25, 2026) + six months of mentorship.
