The College of Nursing Research Excellence Award, administered by the Nursing Unit for Research and Scholarship Excellence (NURSE), recognizes a faculty member who has demonstrated the highest level of excellence and impact in one of the College’s signature areas:

  • Community‑Engaged Health and Nursing Research
  • Health Equity Research
  • Innovations in Health Systems and Education Research

Excellence is defined as rigorous, inclusive research that integrates diverse perspectives, disciplines, and methods to maximize societal impact.

  • All College of Nursing faculty members are eligible.
  • Self‑nominations are not accepted.
  • Nominations are encouraged for individuals from equity groups (Indigenous ancestry, racialized groups, people living with disabilities).
