The ECOWAS Young Graduates Immersion Programme is a fully paid internship designed to give young professionals from ECOWAS member states practical experience in regional integration, policy, and leadership. Hosted across ECOWAS institutions and agencies, the programme helps shape the future of West Africa by equipping graduates with skills, mentorship, and exposure to continental projects that impact over 400 million people.

Who can apply?
Applicants must:
- Be young graduates from ECOWAS member states.

- Hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD certificate (or equivalent).
- Be available full‑time for the programme duration.
How are Fellows Selected?
- Selection is conducted by a Technical Selection Committee.
- Candidates apply for positions defined by ECOWAS departments and host structures.
- Only shortlisted applicants are contacted for the next stage.

- All ECOWAS member states (15 West African countries).
Where will the Programme be Taken?
- ECOWAS Departments, Agencies, Resident Representations, and Institutions across West Africa.
How Many Fellows?
- Cohort size varies; candidates may apply for up to two positions.
