About the Program: Stammer support is a self-help support group for People Who Stammer (PWS). Members learn to give speeches in front of an audience made up of other PWS. Members also share exp
eriences related to speech, including what has worked and what hasn’t. Interested applicants will have access to self-help materials, knowledge of the latest advancements in stuttering management and opportunities available for PWS. Membership is FREE!!!
Selection/Eligibility criteria: You have to be a person who stammers to join and be willing to adhere to the objectives of the support group which includes willingness to attend meetings, share experiences, show consideration, patience and respect to other members.
Value of Program: Improve students’ public speaking skills in front of a supportive audience; gain access to opportunities and latest developments in stuttering management
