QEDA, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Unveiling Africa and SEED Care & Support Foundation, is excited to announce the call for applications for our Youth Vanguards for Education (YVE) Fellowship Program.

Tell Me About the Fellowship Programme:

The QEDA Youth Vanguard for Education Fellowship Program, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Unveiling Africa, and SEED Care & Support Foundation, is a six‑month hybrid programme (virtual + physical in Nigeria). It empowers young Nigerians to become education reform advocates and innovators, equipping them with evidence‑based knowledge, mentorship, and practical school immersion experiences.

Fellowship Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (August 2026 – January 2027).
  • Structure:
    • Phase 1: 2‑month virtual training (advocacy, leadership, safeguarding, climate education, and early grade reading).
    • Phase 2: School immersion internship + community project implementation.
  • Benefits: expert-led training, mentorship, networking, exposure to policymaking, and hands-on impact projects.

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens aged 18–32.
  • Hold at least a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate strong interest in education reform and advocacy.
  • Commit to the full 6‑month programme (including 6 hours weekly of virtual sessions + school immersion).
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show commitment to leadership development and career growth.
