The Commonwealth Young Leaders Fellowship (CYLF), run by the Commonwealth Leaders Academy, is a flagship programme designed to empower exceptional young leaders from across the Commonwealth. It equips fellows with leadership skills, mentorship, international exposure, and collaborative networks to drive transformative change in their communities and contribute to sustainable development.
Fellowship Experience:
- Leadership Development – competency framework covering five core leadership competencies.
- International Exposure – two in‑person convenings (UK and Antigua & Barbuda).
- Mentorship & Coaching – guidance from senior practitioners and policymakers.
- Commonwealth Network – access to a global network of leaders.
- Practical Impact Project – Fellows design and implement a local intervention linked to a Commonwealth‑wide theme.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be young people aged 18–35 from Commonwealth member states.
- Demonstrate a track record or strong commitment to community leadership, public service, or social impact work.
