About the UNESCO Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Photo Contest:
The UNESCO Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Photo Contest is an international photography competition for young people. It encourages participants to capture and share their perspectives on the shared heritage of the Silk Roads.
In 2026, the theme is “Living Heritage along the Silk Roads.” Entries are open from 8 April to 30 June 2026. In addition to the prize cameras, around 60 of the best photos will appear in a professional photo album titled “Youth Lens on the Silk Roads”. Selected photos might also be showcased in exhibitions held worldwide.
Eligibility
- Open to young people from all over the world.
- Applicants must fall into one of two age categories: 14–17 years old or 18–25 years old.
- Participants should live in or have travelled within the Silk Roads regions.
