About the Internship

Responsibilities
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models, and systems, and recommend effective ways to operate.
- Contribute to the Nedbank Quants Training Programme through programme committees and structures.
- Engage with business teams through face-to-face interaction and attendance at forums and committees.
- Extract and analyse data to address business queries.
- Document and record processes and models to support continuity and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with policy through data analysis and monitoring.
- Bridge operational and analytical concepts through effective communication.
- Identify training opportunities and career progression paths, and share knowledge and industry trends with the team.
- Participate in Nedbank culture-building and transformation initiatives.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants should be based in or eligible for the role in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- You must have an Undergraduate Degree at NQF level 7.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Honours or Masters qualifications are preferred.
- Preferred majors include pure or applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, econometrics, financial engineering, quantitative risk management, or similar fields.
