Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be high school seniors, graduates, undergraduates, or graduate students in the U.S. enrolling full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or graduate school.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- Plan to pursue a degree in eligible fields related to CLA.
- Not be CLA employees, interns, or immediate family members of CLA staff.

- Work experience.
- Statement of educational and career goals.
- Consideration of unusual personal/family circumstances.
- Financial need (as calculated by Scholarship America).
- One online recommendation.

Required Documents:
- Current, complete transcript of grades (must show student name, school name, grades, credit hours).
- SAT/ACT test scores (if not listed on transcript).
- One online recommendation form (submitted within 3 business days after deadline).
How to Apply:
- Check eligibility criteria: Ensure you meet GPA, enrollment, and field of study requirements before starting.
- Prepare required documents: Gather transcripts, test scores if applicable, and identify a recommender.
- Complete online application: Fill in personal, academic, and career goal details via Scholarship America portal.
- Submit recommendation form: Have your recommender complete the online form within three business days of deadline.
- Finalize and submit application: Review all entries carefully and submit by May 19, 2026, 3:00 PM CT.
- Await notification: Scholarship America will notify applicants of results in July via email.
