The InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition 8.0 is Nigeria’s biggest STEM competition for secondary school students. It provides opportunities for SS2 science students to showcase their knowledge and win over ₦40 million worth of university scholarships. The competition is fully online for the qualifying stage, making participation accessible nationwide.

- SS2 Science Students (Year 11) aged 14–17.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be SS2 science students in Nigeria.
- Schools can register up to 20 students (minimum of 6).
- Mixed schools must register at least two female students.
- Parents/guardians can also register students individually (for home-schooled or non-participating schools).
Selection Process:
- Round One: Online CBT exams (9–16 June 2026, 8 AM–5 PM daily). Students have two trials, with the better score recorded.
- Round Two: Students scoring 75%+ proceed to the second stage. The best 81 students advance to the TV Quiz Show.
- Demo session provided before the test.

Where will the Award be Taken?
- Nigeria (online qualifying exams + TV Quiz Show).
How Many Awards?
- Top 81 students progress to Stage Two.
- Top 3 winners receive major scholarships.
What is the Benefit of the Award?
- First Prize: ₦15,000,000 (five-year university scholarship + annual stipend) + brand new laptop.
- Second Prize: ₦10,000,000 (five-year university scholarship + annual stipend) + brand new laptop.
- Third Prize: ₦5,000,000 (five-year university scholarship) + brand new laptop.
- Top 9 finalists: Brand-new laptops + cash rewards for their teachers.
How Long Will the Award Last?
- Scholarships cover five years of university study.

- Register students via the official platform: InterswitchSPAK Registration.
- Choose Individual Registration (parents/guardians) or School Registration (minimum 6, maximum 20 students).
- Ensure mixed schools include at least two female students.
- Complete registration before 22 May 2026.
