The ERA:AI Fellowship is a 10‑week research and entrepreneurship programme based in Cambridge, UK (18 January – 26 March 2027). It is designed for researchers and entrepreneurs working to understand and mitigate catastrophic risks from frontier AI systems. Fellows pursue individual research projects, receive high‑touch mentorship, and career support, while gaining access to ERA’s global network.
Which Fields are Eligible
Applicants can choose one of three fellowship tracks:
- AI Governance – policy, law, international governance, corporate frameworks.
- Technical AI Governance – evaluations, compute governance, AI security, technical standards.
- Technical AI Safety – interpretability, scalable oversight, adversarial robustness, cooperative AI.
