Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships provide up to five full awards covering both the Master’s and the MBA degrees. Recipients are exceptional individuals who can demonstrate the potential and commitment to find sustainable solutions to large-scale challenges.

The Oxford–Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships provide up to five full awards each year to outstanding students admitted to the Oxford 1+1 MBA programme. This unique programme allows scholars to combine a Master’s degree from one of Oxford’s partnering programmes with the Oxford MBA. The scholarship supports individuals committed to finding scalable and sustainable solutions to global challenges.
Which Fields are Eligible?
Applicants may pursue any 1+1 MBA Partnering Programme combined with the MBA, including:
- Public Policy
- Global Health
- Environmental Change
- Social Sciences
- Other eligible Master’s programmes listed in the Oxford Graduate Admissions directory.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be new applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA programme.
- Gain admission to both a partner Master’s programme and the MBA.
- Demonstrate commitment to addressing world‑scale social challenges.
- Show leadership potential, academic excellence, and strong personal character.
- Provide a clear vision of how the 1+1 MBA will help achieve their objectives.
How are Applicants Selected?
- Based on academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to social impact.
- Applicants must submit a scholarship essay (max 500 words) answering: “How do you intend to change the world and what does this tell us about you as a person?”
- Shortlisting occurs in April 2027, with interviews in late April/early May 2027.
