Tell Me About The Green Foreign Policy Fellowship:
The Green Foreign Policy Fellowship is a new initiative launched by the Heinrich Bรถll Foundationโs Thessaloniki Office to support scholars, practitioners, and experts around the world in advancing discussions on green and progressive foreign and security policy. Against the backdrop of an evolving international order and growing environmental challenges, the program aims to provide a structured opportunity for emerging thinkers to engage in critical policy debates, develop analytical material, and build global networks. Fellows will receive mentorship, funding, and exposure while contributing new material and practical insights to an underdeveloped but rapidly growing area of international policy.

Who can Apply for the Green Foreign Policy Fellowship?
The eligibility criteria include:
- Young graduates with a bachelorโs degree in international relations or political science
- Emerging or experienced thinkers, such as practitioners, PhD students, and PhD holders in related fields
- Applicants from all continents and regions of the world
- Candidates engaged in academia, think tanks, or policy spaces (e.g., elected officials, policy advisors, analysts)

- Quality of the motivation letter and concept note

- Shortlisted applicants may be invited to a short online interview in June
