GREEN-STEM scholarships will empower up to 92 young talents, students and staff to experience an intra-Africa mobility in the partner institution from short to long term.
The program facilitates academic and research exchanges among partner institutions—University of Nairobi (UoN), University of Rwanda (UR), University of Lagos (UNILAG), and University of the Witwatersrand (WITs).
Get Up to $100,000 Student Loan for Your Master in US or Canada.
Be sure to apply to a HOST UNIVERSITY which IS NOT your HOME UNIVERSITY (or the University you graduated from)
A CALL 2025 FOR 5 MASTER GRANTS IS NOW OPEN FOR MEN & WOMEN FOR THE FOLLOWING:
-> 4 candidates FROM UNIVERSITY OF THE WITWATERSRAND (or with a bachelor from) TO ALL PARTNER UNIVERSITIES
-> 1 candidate FROM UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (or with a Bachelor from) UNIVERSITY OF THE WITWATERSRAND
People with specific needs or assistance are welcome and will be supported during their mobility.

Who can Apply?
-This call is only open to Women
-Target Group 1: Women of African nationality and resident in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from one of the GREEN-STEM African partners: University of Nairobi, University of Rwanda, University of Lagos and University of the Witswatersand
-Target Group 2: For GREEN-STEM, TG2 is restricted to women of African nationality and resident in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from Carnegie Mellon University Africa (Rwanda) and American University of Cairo (Egypt), members of AFRETEC network.
-Women with specific needs or assistance are welcome and will be supported during their mobility.

FULL DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP CONDITIONS
22 months in an eligible Master’s degree program
Monthly allowance: 890€
Application fees, visa and insurance contribution
Travel costs are at the grantee expenses
Tuition fees are waived for the grantees
4 MSc scholarships per partner are expected
36 months in an eligible Doctoral Degree program
Monthly allowance: 1230€
Application fees, visa and insurance contribution

2 PhD scholarships per partner are expected
