2025 Google Internships & Careers for International Students
#1. Student Training in Engineering Program (STEP) Intern, 2025
STEP Japan is intended for women students who are currently in the Bachelor’s degree program and can start working from April 2028 onwards. Please complete this application and submit this form by May 2, 2025. Google welcomes people with disabilities.
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Preferred qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a program majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python.
#2. Software Engineering Intern, 2025
This program will give you an opportunity to work on computer science solutions, develop scalable, distributed software systems, and collaborate on multitudes of smaller projects that have universal appeal, requiring research, awareness, interactivity, and asking questions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Due to local compliance requirements, applicants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related technical field at a university in Brazil with an expected graduation date in December 2025.
- Experience writing code fixes and programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in tech internships or working in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design (e.g., research assistant, teaching assistant, personal projects).
- Ability to manipulate code to improve system availability and latency and optimize code for stability, functionality and scalability for a segment of Google’s infrastructure, service area, or within a technology domain (e.g., crawling, search, troubleshooting).
- Available to work in a hybrid model from September 2025 to December 2025 at the Belo Horizonte or Sรฃo Paulo offices.

This opportunity is intended for students who are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masterโs degree program in Computer Science or a related field. Our Student Researcher opportunities are flexible in time commitment, length of opportunity, and onsite/remote nature, depending on the specific project and host needs. Start dates for this role are typically January through August.

#8. Human Resources Apprenticeship, September 2025 Start
At Google, one Googler can make a huge impact, and itโs no different with our Apprentices. As an Apprentice, youโll have the opportunity to work on projects core to Googleโs business and strategy. You will join the Human Resource teams at Google and will be assigned a manager for the duration of your 12-month apprenticeship.
Minimum qualifications:
- Enrolled in a 1-year Master 2 degree in Human Resource or a closely related area for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Admitted in the curriculum of a CFA (centre formation d’apprentis) and university or school.

- Masterโs degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
