The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships, funded by the New Zealand Government, provide fully funded opportunities for citizens of developing countries to study in New Zealand or at selected Pacific universities. The program supports undergraduate, postgraduate, and preparatory studies, aiming to build capacity and foster development impact in scholars’ home countries.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of eligible developing countries (Pacific, Asia, Africa, Caribbean, Latin America).
- Be resident in their home country for at least two years prior to applying.
- Be 18 years or older (preference for applicants under 40).
- Hold relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor’s for Master’s, Master’s for PhD).
- Meet English language requirements (TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent).
- Have at least one year of work experience (for postgraduate applicants).
- Commit to returning home after studies to contribute to national development.
