The AWLN Intergenerational Retreat (IGR 8) is a flagship gathering jointly supported by the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN). It brings together 40 young African women leaders from across the continent and the Diaspora for a fully sponsored retreat in Libreville, Gabon (December 2026). The retreat strengthens women’s leadership, mentorship, and collective action in line with Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

- Selection emphasises diversity across countries, sectors, and generations.
