Tell Me About The Award:

The International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC) is a global mathematics competition open to high school and university students worldwide. It tests problem‑solving skills across topics such as geometry, number theory, and applied mathematics. Since 2018, IYMC has built a network of over 45,000 participants from 140 countries.

Who can Apply?

Applicants must:

    • Senior: 1st year university and above (≥19 years).
  • Have internet access to submit solutions online.
  • Fluency in English recommended (solutions accepted in multiple languages).

How are Applicants Selected?

  • Qualification Round (September): Solve 3–4 out of 5 problems to qualify.
  • Pre‑Final Round (November): 60‑minute supervised exam with 5 problems, including one research problem. Registration fee €15 (financial aid available).
  • Final Round (December): Online supervised exam with multiple short‑form questions.
