About the France Excellence PSL Scholarship 2024.
The France Excellence PSL Scholarship is a funding opportunity offered by the Université PSL to support students who have been accepted into the 1st or 2nd year of the Master’s in Life Sciences program. Furthermore, the scholarship provides a €10,000 grant for a period of 10 months, as well as a 6-month research internship at one of the university’s affiliated laboratories.Â
The Graduate Program in Life Sciences at Université PSL provides an extensive France Excellence PSL Scholarship for advanced study and research in the life sciences, ranging from Master’s to Doctorate degrees. The program is associated with PSL research laboratories, five Laboratories of Excellence (LabEx), and PSL’s Q-LIFE Institute. The Master’s degree programs offered place a significant emphasis on research and offer elective courses that aim to enhance students’ transdisciplinary skills and broaden their curriculum.

The PSL Graduate Program in Life Sciences is offering two scholarships based on merit to students who have been admitted to the 1st or 2nd year of the Master’s in Life Sciences – Integrative Physiopathology track for the academic year 2024/25. The scholarship amount is 1000 euros per month for 10 months. The successful candidates will have to complete a 6-month research internship in one of the labs affiliated with the PG Life Sciences.

Eligibility Requirements for the
Additionally, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The scholarships are open to students applying for the 1st or 2nd year of the Master’s in Life SciencesÂ
- The courses of the Integrative physiopathology track in the Master’s in Life Sciences are taught in French.
- Applicants must have scientific interests that correspond to those of the PSl Graduate Program in Life Sciences
- By accepting the scholarship, the winners must :
- conduct a 6-month research internship in one of the laboratories affiliated with the PG Life Sciences as listed in the following link
- not request an individualized development plan, except due to pathology impacting schooling.
- complete their school year.

Required Documents
Furthermore, to apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- A letter of application detailing how the applicant’s scientific interests match those of the Graduate Program in Life Sciences and why the candidate would particularly need the scholarship to carry out his/her graduate studies.
- Also, a detailed CV and transcripts from the previous year (transcripts of the last year of bachelor’s if applying for the 1st year of the Master’s in Life Sciences/ transcripts of the 1st year of the master’s if applying to the 2nd year).
- An academic letter of recommendation.
- A letter of recommendation from a scientific tutor (internship supervisor) is mandatory if applying for the 2nd year of the Master’s (optional for application for the 1st year of the Master’s).
- Other scholarships or financial aid received by the candidate must be mentioned.
