Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens.
- Health: Applicants must be in good health.

Application Process

Required Documents:
- Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship Application Form.
- You must have a notarized highest academic qualification certificate.
- A notarized transcript of your highest academic degree.
- Study and research plan (minimum 800 words).
- Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
- For art and music majors: Relevant work samples as specified.
- Physical Examination Form for Foreigners.
- A copy of a valid passport.
- Eight passport-size photos with a white background.

- Materials can be submitted directly or mailed to: the International Student Management Department, Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Yanbian University, No. 977 Gongyuan Road, Yanji City, Jilin Province, China. Postcode: 133002.
- Do not send materials by fax or email. Use courier services like EMS, DHL, or SF Express.
Selection and Admission
- Yanbian University will review applications in early August and notify accepted students by sending an “Admission Notice” and a “Visa Application Form for Foreign Students.”
- A physical examination is required upon arrival, and admission may be revoked if the student fails this health check.
