The OECD Internship Programme is designed to bring highly qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the Organisation to work on projects linked to the Strategic Orientations of the Secretary-General and to support the corporate functions of the Organisation. Its main goal is to give successful candidates the opportunity to improve their analytical and technical skills in an international environment.

The Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD) offers internships to highly qualified students to gain experience in international policy research and corporate functions. Interns contribute to OECD’s mission of building better policies for better lives by supporting policy analysts and participating in projects across diverse thematic areas.

Internship Areas:

  • Policy Research – agriculture, AI, bribery & corruption, competition, corporate governance, development, digitalisation, economy, education, employment, energy, environment, finance, gender, health, migration, science & technology, tax, trade, transport.
  • Corporate Functions – communications, event management, HR, IT, legal services, office administration, translation, finance & accounting.

Who can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be full‑time students enrolled in a degree programme for the duration of the internship.
  • Have academic background related to OECD’s work.
  • Possess quantitative and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency).
  • Be fluent in English or French (commitment to reach working level in the other).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Show interest in OECD’s mission of promoting international co‑operation.
