Murdoch University International Welcome Scholarship (IWS) 2019 for Developing Countries

Murdoch University offers students of the following countries below the opportunity of a International Welcome Scholarship.

Eligible Regions: Africa, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (inclusive of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Latin America (as of S1 2019), Malaysia, Mexico, The Middle East, Mongolia (as of S2 2018), Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam.

Field of Study:

• All undergraduate degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campus’
• All honours degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campus’
• All Graduate Diploma and Masters by Coursework degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campus

Type: Undergraduate, Masters

Eligibility: This scholarship is only for those who are:

• an international, full fee paying student;
• commencing studies at one of Murdoch’s Western Australia campuses in 2018 or 2019;
• commencing studies in an eligible coursework program; and
• a citizen from one of the following countries or regions:Africa, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (inclusive of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Latin America (as of S1 2019), Malaysia, Mexico, The Middle East, Mongolia (as of S2 2018), Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam.

Number of Awards: Multiple scholarships are available

Value of Award:

$11,000 for Business and Governance eligible degree courses $11,000 for the Bachelor of Nursing course $8,000 for all other eligible courses

How to Apply: There is no scholarship application process. An eligible student simply needs to accept their Murdoch University offer to be considered for an International Welcome Scholarship.
