The CFA Institute Access Scholarship Program makes the CFA® Program more affordable for candidates who face financial barriers. It reduces exam registration fees and provides access to study materials, enabling aspiring finance professionals to pursue the globally recognised CFA charter.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Meet CFA Program enrollment requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), or
- Have a combination of 4,000 hours of work experience and/or higher education over at least 3 years.
- Possess a valid international travel passport.
- Demonstrate English proficiency (exams are only in English).
- Show financial need.
- Not be currently registered for a CFA exam.
- Have a strong interest in investment and finance.
How Are Scholars Selected
- Based on eligibility, financial need, and motivation to pursue the CFA charter.
- Applications are reviewed under CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
- Providing false or misleading information may result in disciplinary sanctions.

- Global – 190+ countries, including Nigeria, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Germany, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Korea, Singapore, Ireland, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Finland.
Where Will the Scholarship Be Taken
- CFA exams are conducted globally at official CFA Institute test centers.
