Upskill by Cardtonic is a community initiative designed to empower young tech talents in Nigeria and Ghana. The program provides MacBooks and fully funded tech scholarships to help participants learn new skills, accelerate their careers, and reach their full potential.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Be under 30 years old.
- Be Nigerian or Ghanaian.
- Show a passionate drive toward technology or content creation.
- For the MacBook Track, provide a portfolio or proof of work relevant to the skill.
How Are Scholars Selected
- Applications reviewed after deadline.
- Screening and assessment conducted in September 2026.
- Interviews held late September.
- Winners announced 1–2 October 2026.

Where Will the Program Be Taken
- Online and in‑person (Nigeria & Ghana).
How Many Scholars
- 25 MacBook Pros awarded.
- 20 fully funded scholarships (via AltSchool Africa, with ₦250,000 cash support each).
What is the Benefit of the Program
- Brand‑new MacBook Pro (M5) for selected talents.
- Fully funded AltSchool Africa diploma scholarships.
- ₦250,000 cash support for scholarship recipients.
- Access to mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.
How Long Will the Program Last
- Scholarships cover full diploma duration; MacBook track is a one‑time award with ongoing community support.
