QatarEnergy LNG is recruiting Field Operators from Nigeria to support operations in Qatar. This recruitment event is part of the company’s global talent drive, offering Nigerian professionals the chance to join a diverse community of experts in LNG operations.

Job Purpose:

Perform field operations in facilities such as Utility, Inlet Receiving, Sulphur Recovery, and LNG units, ensuring safe and reliable plant operation by monitoring equipment performance, maintaining processes within limits, and supporting maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate field equipment in line with safety procedures.
  • Monitor and log parameters, reporting irregularities to supervisors.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance and recommission after completion.
  • Ensure Permit to Work compliance during field audits.
  • Conduct safety walks and site surveillance to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Provide first‑line emergency response to protect personnel, assets, and environment.
  • Perform electrical isolation/de‑isolation of low‑voltage equipment for maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary School Education (12 years).
  • Vocational Training Programme Certificate.

Experience Required:

  • 5 years operator experience in Utility, Inlet Receiving, Sulphur Recovery, or LNG facilities.
