Applications are open for the Presidential African Youth in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Competition (Third Edition, 2026). This pan-African contest supports young innovators working in artificial intelligence, robotics, and related emerging technologies across African Union Member States.
The competition is led by Ele-vate AI Africa and the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD). In addition, it is co-convened with AU Member States. The 2026 edition is hosted by the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt through MCIT.

The Presidential African Youth in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Competition is a continental flagship initiative co‑convened by AUDA‑NEPAD and Elevate AI Africa, hosted in 2026 by the Government of Egypt (MCIT). It empowers African youth to lead in AI, robotics, and emerging technologies, aligning with Agenda 2063 and STISA 2034.
This competition is more than a contest — it is a platform for innovation, policy influence, and economic growth, connecting young innovators with investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.
