Applications are now open for the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program 2026, hosted by the Policy Center for the New South. The application deadline is Sunday, June 14, 2026. Each year, the program brings together over 40 emerging leaders in Rabat, Morocco for an immersive leadership experience, followed by participation in the Atlantic Dialogues conference.


In addition, selected fellows receive a fully funded experience in Rabat. The program runs from December 6–12, 2026.

About Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program:

The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program is designed for young professionals who are already contributing to public life, policy, business, civil society, media, research, or related fields. Through this fellowship, participants join an intensive and interactive learning experience in Rabat.

Furthermore, fellows take part in tailored leadership training and workshops. They also attend the Atlantic Dialogues conference, where they engage directly with senior decision-makers and experts from across the Atlantic space.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be 25–35 years old as of December 6, 2026.
  • Applicants must be fluent in English.
  • Applicants must be citizens or residents of countries in Africa or across the Atlantic Basin (Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean).
  • Applicants must have significant professional experience in their field.
  • Applicants must be engaged in roles involving responsibility, influence, or decision-making.
  • Applicants must be available for the full program period from December 6–12, 2026.

What Fellows Receive: Fully funded experience in Rabat, tailored leadership training, interactive workshops, integration into a lifelong ADEL alumni network and community, access to the Atlantic Dialogues conference, and direct engagement with senior decision-makers and experts.
