Which Fields are Eligible?: The competition is for ventures that distribute already proven poverty interventions; it does not fund prototypes of new interventions. Specific distribution challenges can be found on their website.

- Which Countries Are Eligible?: The award is for ventures operating in the developing world.
Where will the Award be Taken?: In the developing world region specified in the applicant’s pilot proposal.
How Many Awards?: D-Prize typically funds at least 15 proposals per competition.
What is the Benefit of the Award?:
- Funding of up to $20,000 (average award size is $16,000).
- Assistance in attracting future funding if the pilot is successful.
