The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) is a five-month fellowship programme run by the German Bundestag in cooperation with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin. It offers around 120 young graduates from up to 50 countries the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Germany’s parliamentary system, including a three-month placement in the office of a Member of Parliament.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:

- Be under 30 years old at the start of the programme (March 2027).
- Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
- Demonstrate social or political engagement.
- Have very good German language skills (minimum B2 level).
