The International Priority Scholarship (IPS) at UMS supports international students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees. It provides financial assistance, cultural immersion, and academic opportunities in a diverse environment. IPS is designed to attract talented students from developing countries, especially Moslem youths, to achieve academic excellence and contribute to global knowledge.
Which Fields are Eligible
- Undergraduate Programs: All UMS undergraduate programmes (Regular Class in Bahasa Indonesia, International Class in English, Islamic Studies in Arabic).
- Postgraduate Programs: All Master’s and Doctoral programmes (mostly in Bahasa Indonesia, except Master of English Education delivered in English).

Who Can Apply

How Are Scholars Selected

Fully Funded Coverage:
- Tuition fees (Bachelor: 8 semesters, Master: 4 semesters, Doctoral: 6 semesters).
- Living allowance: IDR 1,750,000/month.
- Books allowance: IDR 50,000/month.
- Health insurance.
- Visa fees & limited stay permit.
- Return airfare.
- Free 1‑year Bahasa Indonesia class (for Regular Class students).
Partially Funded Coverage:
- Tuition fee waiver.
