The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS) is offered by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) to attract outstanding non‑EU/EEA students into its international classrooms. For the academic year 2026–2027, the scholarship provides €25,900 to support excellent students enrolling in selected LLM Master’s programmes at the Amsterdam Law School.

- Comply with Dutch visa regulations.
- Enrol as a full‑time student for the academic year.
- Belong to the top tier academically (excellent students).

- If applying for both AMS and Mr Julia Henriëtte Jaarsma‑Adolfs Fund Scholarship, indicate this in the form (only one motivation letter required).
- Results announced by end of March 2027.
