University of Stirling

The University of Stirling is a public university in Stirling, Scotland, founded by royal charter in 1967. It is a plate glass university – these are groups of universities in the United Kingdom established or promoted to university status in the 1960s.

The University is organized into four faculties – Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences and Sports, and the Stirling Management School. It has a total student population of around 12,000. These are made up of students from a broad range of cultural backgrounds (undergraduates – 8585 and postgraduates – 3,480) and an administrative staff strength of 1,872.

The campus, measuring approximately 360 acres, is replete with wildlife, exotic flora, and is often cited as one of the beautifully designed campuses in the UK. The University of Stirling is ranked 478th in the QS Global World Rankings and 48th  in the UK. Available Scholarships In The University of Stirling

University of Stirling International Undergraduate Awards in the UK: This Scholarship is at the undergraduate level. It is open to international students and any course offered by the University.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be domiciled outside the EU region or be non-EU nationals.
  • Candidates must be liable to pay tuition fees at the overseas rate and be self-funded.
  • For students eligible for more than one scholarship award, the award with greater value will be confirmed.
  • All country-specific criteria must be met by the applicants.

Value: GBP 2,000 per year. Applicable for up to four years.

University of Stirling Postgraduate Merit Scholarships in the UK: This scholarship is offered for a Master’s Degree in the field of All the courses offered by the University.

Eligibility

  • Open to UK/EU Students.
  • Candidates must be applying to any full-time Master’s program to access this scholarship.
  • Candidates applying for Postgraduate Merit Scholarships at, University of Stirling, should have applied and received an offer from the University.
  • The successful applicants should not receive funding from any other scholarship sources.
  • The candidates applying for Postgraduate Merit Scholarships are selected based on academic excellence.
  • The quality of the personal statement submitted is also considered.

Value: Partial funding, up to £2,000.

University of Stirling Undergraduate Sports Scholarships: The University of Stirling Undergraduate Sports Scholarship is offered for Bachelor’s Degree in the field of programs offered by the University.

Eligibility

  • Open to all Nationals
  • Applicants must fulfill the sport-specific eligibility criteria and also outdo their academic requirements for entry into the University.
  • Successful applicants can receive Choice Scholarships simultaneously but may not be in receipt of other scholarships.
    1. The Sports Scholarships are applicable to the Sports: Football, Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon.

Other Sports applications will be assessed in a case-by-case method.
