For young Nigerians, the Federal Government of Nigeria is accepting applications for the Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF).
Large-scale investments of $100,000 are available through the Federal Government’s Creative Economy Development Fund to help creative companies expand their production and reach new markets.

When is the Application Deadline?
June 30, 2025 (for PHASE 1).
PHASE 2 opens on August 4, 2025 (targeted at SMEs and MSMEs with smaller ticket-size investments).
🎯 Tell Me About the Federal Government Creative Economy Development Fund:
The Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF) is a strategic initiative by the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy (FMACTCE) to boost Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries. Approved by the Federal Executive Council, the fund is designed to provide access to financing, stimulate economic diversification, and promote job creation through the creative economy.
The CEDF is designed to catalyze growth, innovation, and sustainable financing for Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries, in line with the government’s commitment to creating jobs, stimulating economic diversification, and boosting Nigeria’s global cultural footprint.
Please note that Phase One of the CEDF application focuses on investments with large ticket sizes i.e USD 100,000 and above.
Phase 2 which will launch on the 4th of August 2025 will receive applications from SMEs and MSMEs with a smaller ticket size for their investments.
