The Heirs Insurance Essay Championship is an annual competition organised by Heirs Insurance to showcase the creativity and talent of children across Nigeria. It is open to students in junior secondary school (JSS1 to JSS3). The competition encourages young people to explore the value of insurance in everyday life.
For 2026, the essay topic is “The Power of Insurance in Creating Safer and More Secure Societies”. The championship also includes a Teachers’ Insurance Awareness Prize, which recognises and rewards teachers who promote insurance education in their schools or communities.

Who can Apply For The Heirs Insurance Essay Competition?
The competition is open to students and teachers:
- Students: Must be in JSS1 to JSS3 in any school across Nigeria.
- Teachers: Must execute an insurance awareness initiative in their school or community.
